Teenage is such a period in the life of human beings when various hormonal changes come in the body. As a result, teens suffer from some physical as well as mental health problems as the body needs some time to adapt to the hormonal changes. Since teens are not aware of these changes, therefore they feel stressed due to these health problems. But there is no need to worry as these problems can be solved by following some simple tips.
Obesity
The most common problem from which teens suffer is the weight issue or what is commonly known as obesity. Since the rapid growth takes place during the teenage, therefore the need for diet also changes accordingly. But it is equally important that proper attention must be paid to diet of teens to help them in growth while keeping a check on the weight also.
Skin problems
Another common health problem from which most teens suffer is that of acne which is again due to hormonal changes in the body. Although it is not a serious problem however it has a negative effect on the mental health of teens. This problem can be tackled by consuming oral and topical medicines.
Bad eating habits
Eating abnormalities is one more health issue from which most of the teens suffer. Some teens suffer from anorexia nervosa under which they starve themselves so as to maintain their body shape and weight. While some other teens wish to build their muscles and to do this they engage in overeating. But to remove the extra amount of food consumed, they either vomit or use laxatives for this purpose. This problem can be solved by making teens aware of healthy eating habits and the proper diet required by them according to their needs. Also they must be taught about the ill-effects of both types of eating abnormalities.
